REP 11.82-171 PPI Undocking

Removal
WARNING
Take care during this procedure. Sharp edges may be present that can cause injury.
WARNING
Switch off the electricity to the machine, GP 14. Disconnect the power cord from the
customer supply, while performing tasks that do not need electricity. Electricity can
cause death or injury. Moving parts can cause injury.
CAUTION
Place the PPI on a suitable surface. Do not damage the PPI locating pins.
CAUTION
Do not show the customer how to undock or dock the PPI.
1. Open the HVF front door and slide the white latch handle to the rear. Lift the PPI vertically
from the HVF and put it on a suitable surface, Figure 1.

Replacement
Reverse the undocking procedure to dock the PPI unit to the HVF. Lock the PPI onto the HVF
by sliding the latch handle towards the front.

1. Undock the PPI and put it on a suitable surface, REP 11.82-171.
2. Remove the lower screw and release the upper tab. Move the cover to release the right
side tab from the frame, Figure 1.

Replacement
Reverse the removal procedures to replace the PPI front and rear covers.
