Homing Request

AxisName.Md.Homing_Request must be TRUE in the motion system, and homing must be executed in the following cases.
The reason of the homing request is TRUE is recorded in event history.
• System's power supply on or reset (When using an absolute position system and when homing has been completed at the
system/driver power off or reset, the homing request is not turned TRUE.)
• Homing start (Unless homing is completed normally, the homing request flag does not turn FALSE.)
• If the absolute position data in the motion system is erased by a memory error, etc., the warning "Absolute Position Data
Incorrect Warning" (warning code: 0D00H) will occur.
• Axis type change
[Only for real drive axis]
• Driver's power supply on (When using an absolute position system and when homing has been completed at the system/
driver power off or reset, the homing request is not turned ON.)
• "Absolute position erased" detection in driver side
• "Polarity (607EH)" b7: position polarity of driver objects change
• Driver and motor encoder change detection
• A driver other than the connected driver at the previous establishment of the home position is connected when using
emulate function
AxisName.Md.Homing_Request turns FALSE by the completion of the homing.
When homing is not required
Execute a homing request clear in systems that do not require homing. AxisName.Md.Homing_Request can be turned FALSE
by doing so. For details, refer to the following.
