FRONT SEAT FRAMES AND MECHANISMS
Front seat runner: Removal - Refitting
- the front seat runners (4) .
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace the front seat runner nuts.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit without tightening:
- the inner runner (5) ,
- the outer runner (6) .
FRONT SEAT TYPE 01 or FRONT SEAT TYPE 02
a Position the manual sliding control of the runners.
a Bring the front seat runners tightly together toward
the interior of the seat as (7) .
a Tighten (8) , (9) and (10) in the indicated order.
a Check the synchronisation of the left-hand and right-
hand runners of front seat.
a Torque tighten new front seat runner nuts (27
N.m).
a Clip the front seat connector mounting (1) .

III - FINAL OPERATION.
FRONT SEAT TYPE 03 or FRONT SEAT TYPE 04
a Connect the connector of the front seat slide motor
(2) .
a Refit:
- the front seat belt stalk (see Front seat belt stalk:
Removal - Refitting) (88C, Airbag and pretensio-
ners),
- the front seat lower cover (see 77A, Front seat
trim, Front seat lower cover: Removal - Refit-
ting, page 77A-8) ,
- the entire front seat (see 75A, Front seat frames
and mechanisms, Complete front seat: Remo-
val - Refitting, page 75A-15) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
