FRONT SEAT FRAMES AND MECHANISMS
Front seat height adjustment motor: Removal - Refitting
a Remove:
- the protector (3) ,
- the nut,
- the front seat height adjustment motor
REFITTING
I - REFITTING PREPARATION OPERATION
a Always replace the front seat bolts.
Note:
When refitting, make sure to fit the front seat hei-
ght adjustment motor correctly.
II - REFITTING OPERATION FOR PART
CONCERNED
a Refit the front seat height adjustment motor.
a Tighten to torque:
- the height adjustment motor bolt (27 N.m) (2) ,
- the height adjustment motor nut (21 N.m).
a Refit the protector (3) .
a Connect the connector (1) .
a Remove the strap.
III - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
- the front seat cushion trim (see 77A, Front seat
trim, Front seat base trim: Removal - Refitting,
page 77A-1) ,
- the lower seat covers (see 77A, Front seat trim,
Front seat lower cover: Removal - Refitting,
page 77A-8) ,
- the entire front seat (see 75A, Front seat frames
and mechanisms, Complete front seat: Remo-
val - Refitting, page 75A-15) .
a Connect the battery (see Battery : Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Apply the after repair procedure using the diagnos-
tic tool :
- connect the diagnostic tool,
- select « driver's seat position control and storage
keypad » ,

- go to repair mode,
- display the « before/after repair procedure » for the
computer selected,
- select « instrumented front motor for driver's seat
cushion height adjustment » or « instrumented rear
motor for driver's seat cushion height adjustment »
in the « List of the components controlled by this
computer » section,
- carry out the operations described in the « After re-
pair procedure » section.
a Carry out a function test.
