NTP 119 — Replace an I-010G-A indoor ONT

Use this procedure to replace an I-010G-A indoor ONT.

Deactivate the ONT services (DLP 131). If you are using the SLID feature, this step

is not required. The ONT and the services can remain in service (IS).

At the subscriber site, remove the ONT from its wall mount (if applicable) and

disconnect the power and Ethernet cables; see Figure

Disconnect the SC/APC fiber optic cable from the I-010G-A indoor ONT.

Replace the I-010G-A indoor ONT with a new unit.

Reattach the power and Ethernet cables to the ONT.

Reconnect the power cable to the power converter and then the electrical outlet.

Verify that the unit is powered. If there is no power, press the On/Off button.

If used, configure the SLID (DLP 129).

If required, have approved service personnel who are trained to work with optic

fiber clean the fiber optic connection. See DLP
