1.
Remove the basket (See page 6-24).
nOTe: This section covers two models,
MFR40 & 50, and in some cases different
tools are used. When differences exist, both
tool numbers are shown, the first number is
for MFR40, second number is for MFR50.

Use lever bar #514759 to block pulley to the
back of washer.
3.
Use a socket or wrench to remove the bolt
in the center of the pulley.
4.
Insert the center bolt, #518940, into the
threaded hole of the shaft in the center of
the pulley. First tighten it by hand, then
tighten the bolt by wrench until just a few
threads are left showing on the bolt.

Mark the back facing side of the pulley
with tape, or similar marking, for proper
orientation during reassembly.
6.
Attach puller tool, #518936, to pulley spokes
with the pushing bolt positioned in the
middle of the center bolt.
7.
Turn the pulley puller pushing bolt with a
hex key. Continue tightening and pushing
against the center bolt to remove the pulley.
8.
Support puller and pulley to avoid having
them fall when pulley comes off the shaft.
9.
Remove the tolerance ring from the shaft
after removing the pulley.
