To replace first of the front bearings, brush
a thin layer of Loctite® 603 on the bearing
seat of the bearing housing closest to the
shoulder. Avoid putting Loctite® on the
shoulder, or on seat of second front bearing.

Load tool #518878 with sleeve #518905
and push bushing #518891 or #518890
with the protruding side toward the bearing
housing. Insert the tool through the rear
of the bearing housing. Clean the outside
edge of the new bearing with a clean dry
cloth to remove any oil and fingerprints.
Load the new front bearing and the push
bushing, #518890 or #518889, with the
protruding side toward the bearing. Move
the bearing onto the protrusion. Load the
push bearing and cog nut. Use the two
lever bars #514759 and turn the cog nut,
applying continuous pressure, until the
bearing is seated.
15.
Remove the tools. Verify the bearing is
seated against the shoulder.
16.
Brush a thin layer of Loctite® 603 on the
bearing seat for the second front bearing.
Avoid getting Loctite® on the first front
bearing.
17.
Repeat step 14, above, to replace the
second front bearing. Remove the tools.

To replace first of the rear bearings, brush
a thin layer of Loctite® 603 on the bearing
seat of the bearing housing closest to the
shoulder. Avoid putting Loctite® on the
shoulder, or on seat of second rear bearing.

Place push bushing, #518890 or #518889,
with protruding side inside the front bearing.
Load tool #518878 with the sleeve #518905
and push bushing #518891 or #518890 with
protruding side toward bearing housing.
Clean the outside edge of the new bearing
with a clean dry cloth to remove any oil and
fingerprints. Load the new rear bearing and
move the bearing onto the protrusion. Insert
the tool through the rear of the bearing
housing. Load the push bearing and cog
nut. Use the two lever bars #514759 and
turn the cog nut, applying continuous
pressure, until the bearing is seated.
20.
Remove the tools. Verify the bearing is
seated against the shoulder.
21.
Brush a thin layer of Loctite® 603 on the
bearing seat for second rear bearing. Avoid
getting Loctite® on the first rear bearing.
22.
Repeat step 19, above, to replace the
second rear bearing. Remove the tools.
23.
Reinstall the front bearing retaining ring in
the groove of the bearing housing.
