TeCH Tip: When reinstalling the basket
pulley, put the tolerance ring on the shaft
and secure it with a wire tie to keep it tight
to the shaft, apply a small amount of grease
on the outside of the tolerance ring. When
the pulley is about half way over it, cut and
remove the wire tie.
Start the pulley on the shaft by hand.
Make sure the mark made on the pulley
previously is oriented correctly. Do not
hammer the pulley onto the main shaft,
because it can damage bearings and / or
move main shaft from its correct position.
To push the pulley onto the shaft, insert
threaded rod #518912 into push bearing
#514691.
Use support extension #518913 or
#518869 between push bearing and pulley.
Screw the threaded rod into the center
hole of the shaft by hand until it is snug.
