Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Clean and dry the door gasket, door glass
and tub rim.
2.
Checking for proper door closure and
gasket pressure is done by observation of
the spacing between the door handle lever
tongue and the door lock pivot pin as the
door is closed.
3.
Begin with the door open and the door
handle (and handle lever) in the closed
position.
4.
Bring the door to a nearly-closed position so
that the door gasket is just beginning to be
compressed against the tub lip.
5.
Check to see if there is any contact between
the door lock guides and the door latch.

If any contact exists, add a small manual
vertical force (maximum 5 pounds) to the
door to attempt to eliminate the contact.
7.
If the contact is more than a minor
adjustment can correct it will be necessary
to adjust the door at the hinge side
(See page 8-26).

When correctly adjusted there will be no
contact between the door lock guides and
door latch, or between the door pin and door
lock pin holder.

Verify the tub rim presses on the door
gasket rubber, evenly, all the way around
the door.

Add chalk around the tub lip.
Close the door and open the door.
