To remove the rear bearing, load the tool
#518878 with the sleeve #518896, and
push bushing #518894.

NOTE: A foot long 6x6 block of wood props
up the bearing housing nicely for working on
the bearings and seals.

Insert the tool through the front bearing.

Insert the bearing cup, #518897, with cup
side toward the bearing.

Insert the push bearing against the bearing
cup and screw on the cog nut. The push
bearing is used so cog nut does not bind or
jam against bearing cup.

Use lever bars #514759 to tighten the cog
nut until the rear bearing is pressed, from
the inside out, into the bearing cup.

To remove the front bearing and seal
holder, load the tool #518878 with sleeve
#518896, and push bushing #518901.

Insert the tool through the rear of the
bearing housing. Insert the bearing cup
#518900 with cup side toward the bearing
and seal holder. Insert the push bearing
against the bearing cup and screw on the
cog nut.

Use lever bars #514759 to tighten the cog
nut until the front bearing and seal holder
are pressed into the bearing cup.

To remove the radial main shaft seals from
the seal holder, load the tool #518878 with
the sleeve #518896.
44.
Insert the bearing cup, #518898, cup side
facing away from the sleeve.
45.
Insert the seal holder, front side toward the
bearing cup.
