10. To install the seal, place the new axial
seal with the carbon ring into tool #518961.
Apply a thin layer of Scotch-Clad™ 776 to
the edge of the seal, not the entire surface
of the seal that is visible outside of the tool,
just the last half of the side edge of the seal.
11. Make sure the surface of the seal and
holder are completely clean of any dirt or
debris. Immediately press the seal into the
holder. Make sure the seal is completely
inserted into the holder and sits against
the back wall of the seal holder. Remove
the tool without moving the seal from its
installed position.
12. Clean the surface of the tub and the
threads of the bolts, where the seal holder
was removed, of any dirt and old sealant.

much product will affect the drying process.
