4. Remove the clips around the front shell of
the drum with a screwdriver. Make sure not
to bend the clips when removing them.

5. Remove the front panel of the drum with the
door attached by pulling it away from the
front of the drum.
6. Remove the basket pulley (See page 6-47).
7. Use a standard 2 arm puller to push the
basket out with. Be sure the 2 hooks are
properly positioned in the trunnion and
the push bolt is positioned in the middle
of the center bolt. Tighten the push bolt
with a wrench until the basket is free of the
bearings in the trunnion.

8. Pull the basket out the front of the washer.
9. To reinstall the basket, remove the nut from
threaded rod #518912 and install the rod
into the threaded hole of the basket shaft
until it is fully inserted but not tightened.
10. With the help of another individual, reinstall
the basket into the washer. Have the other
individual watch the threaded rod and
verbally guide the insertion process to keep
the basket shaft centered in the hole as
much as possible the entire time it is being
inserted. Remove the threaded rod.
