TeSTinG MOTORS

MFR18 - 25 motors have 3 motor winding
wires (black, white, brown) and 2 gray wires
(tachometer circuit) – resistance measurement
of the tachometer wires circuit is measured
between the two gray wires and typically
measures 155-190 ohms
Motors used in MFR30 - 80 models are dual
voltage motors and are wired for "low voltage"
(delta configuration) in most 60Hz models
Motor wires connected to inverter drive and
to motor junction box are marked "1", "2" and
"3" in all MFR30 - 80 models. Resistance
measurements are made from "1" to" 2", "2"
to" 3", and from "1" to "3".
