To install the front bearing into the bearing
housing, place a thin film of Loctite® 603
around the front bearing seat in the bearing
housing, not on the bearing. Apply only
a thin layer, otherwise the function of the
bearing can be affected.

Assemble the tool #518878 with the sleeve
#518905, push bushing #518884 with the
protruding side facing the bearing, and the
new bearing positioned on the protruding
part of the tool. Insert the tool from the front
of the bearing housing. Install the push
bushing #518883 with the protruding side
toward the bearing, the push bearing and
the cog nut. Use the lever bars #514759
to press the bearing into position. Once
started, apply continuous pressure until
the bearing is seated. Failure to do so can
result in an improperly seated bearing.

Verify that the bearing is resting against the
bearing stop by looking through the rear of
the bearing housing.

To install rear bearing into bearing housing,
make sure the bearing seat is clean and
place a thin film of Loctite® 603 around
rear bearing seat in bearing housing, not on
bearing. Apply only a thin layer, otherwise
function of bearing can be affected.

Assemble the tool #518878 with the sleeve
#518905, push bushing #518884 with the
protruding side facing the bearing. Insert
the tool from the front of the bearing housing
and seat the push bushing into the front
bearing inner race. Install the new rear
bearing, push bushing #518883 with the
protruding side toward the bearing, the push
bearing and the cog nut. Use the lever
bars #514759 to press the rear bearing into
position. Once started, apply continuous
pressure until the bearing is seated. Failure
to do so can result in an improperly seated
bearing.

Verify that the bearing is resting against

through the ventilation hole in the top of the
bearing housing.
