Remove two star head screws on the left
side of the door opening.

Pull the panel out slightly, remove the
remaining two wire connections from the
door closed and door locked switches.

The shims behind the door lock assembly
may fall during removal. Make sure the
shims are not misplaced and that they are
reinstalled during reassembly.
TeCH Tip: The string attached to the door
lock assembly is the manual unlock. If
the door will not unlock, remove the lower
service panel to access the string, pull the
string down to unlock the door.

When reinstalling the door lock assembly
it is important that the shims stay in place.
Put some adhesive on the side of the shim
that faces the tub front, press them together
to keep the shims in place.
10.
When reinstalling the door lock, use non-
permanent Loctite® on the threads of the
mounting screws.
11.
Make sure the assembly is positioned
correctly before tightening the screws.
12.
Reconnect the two wires to the door closed
switch, one to the inner terminal connection
and one to the middle terminal connection.
The outer terminal does not get a wire
connector.
13.
Plug in wiring harness for the door lock.
14.
Make sure all wire connections are secure.
15.
When reinstalling the cover plate, make
sure the A side is facing out and/or the tab
holes are to the left of the center of the
cover plate.
16.
Add non-permanent Loctite® to the screw
threads before reinstalling them so they will
not loosen from vibration, causing the cover
plate to hang down.
17.
Hook wiring harness tabs in the cover plate
holes to avoid wires getting between the
front and side panels due to vibration.
