The bolt that secures the anti-rotation strap
to the tub ring and the base support, and
the matching bolt on the opposite side, are
installed from the inside with the nut on
the back. Loosen the bolt that secures the
bottom of the anti-rotation strap to allow the
strap to hang on the base support.

It may be necessary to use a flat blade
screwdriver to get the tub ring and back
plate to move to the end of the bolts around
the edge of the tub ring. Remove the nut
on the top bolt when ready to remove the
assembly.

Use two people to remove the trunnion
and basket assembly. Slide the assembly
out the back of the washer and set it on a
couple of 2 x 4s or similar wooden pieces.

Install the center bolt M12x50, #518933,
into the center of the basket shaft. Avoid
turning the center bolt all the way into the
shaft, leave it about half way out to allow
the puller to push the basket shaft out past
the bearing seat.

Use a standard two or three arm puller to
push the basket shaft out of the trunnion
and back plate assembly. Turn the pushing
bolt against the center bolt until the bearings
are loose from the basket shaft seats. Use
Lever bar tool #514759 to block a spoke if
needed.

Use two people to lift the trunnion and
back plate assembly off the back of the
basket and set it on a work surface.
