Command Usage
The maximum transmission distance is affected by the data
rate. The lower the data rate, the longer the transmission
distance.

channel

This command configures the radio channel through which the
local wireless bridge communicates with remote bridges.
Syntax
channel <channel | auto>
• channel - Manually sets the radio channel used for
communications with remote bridges. (Range: 802.11a -
36, 40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64, 149, 153, 157, 161, 165 for
normal mode, and 42, 50, 58, 152, 160 for turbo mode;
802.1g - 1 to 14)
• auto - Automatically selects an unoccupied channel (if
available). Otherwise, the lowest channel is selected.

Command Usage
The available channel settings are limited by local regulations,
which determine the number of channels that are available.
