EXTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM
LICENSE PLATE LIGHT
Removal I Inspection I Installation
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
3. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.

3. Cover
4. Lens
5. Gasket
6. Bulb
. Inspect for failure and poor contact
7. Socket
STOPLIGHT SWITCH
Inspection
1 . Disconnect the stoplight switch connector.
2. Check continuity of the stoplight switch.
Brake pedal
Continuity
Depressed
Yes
Released No
3. Replace the stoplight switch, if not as spcified.
BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH
Inspection
1. Disconnect the backup light switch connector.
2. Check continuity of the back-up li"ght switch.
Transmission Continuity
Reverse
Yes
Other gears
No
