Caution
• Verify that the rocker arms and push rods are
properly engaged while tightening.
8. Apply clean engine oil to the bolt threads and seat faces.
9. Install the cylinder head bolts.
10. Tighten the bolts in two or three steps in the order shown
in the figure.
Tightening torque:

11. Make paint marks on the bolt heads as shown in the figure.
12. With the paint marks as a reference point, tighten the cylin-
der head bolts

Water Outlet Housing
1. Install the water outlet housing.

1. Install the intake manifold assembly and a new gasket.
