GLOW PLUG RELAY
Inspection
Voltage
1. Remove the glow plug relay.
2. Check terminal voltage from the back of the relay connector.

Note
• 12++0V:dndicates voltage fluctuates between 12V
and OV.
Operation
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal
2. Remove the glow plug relay.
3. Measure resistance between terminals D and E.
Resistance: Approx. 130 .
4. Apply 12V bet\yeen terminals 0 and E, and verify that there
are continuity beween terminals A and 8, and A and C.
WATER THERMOSENSOR
Inspection
1. Disconnect the thermosensor connector.
2. Check continuity between the terminals.
Coolant temp.

Less than 30°C (86°F)
More than 30°C (86°F)
GLOW INDICATOR LAMP
Inspection
Yes

1. When the engine switch ON, verify that the GLOW indica-
tor lamp flashes for a few seconds.
