Wiring Auxiliary 3 Output (Optional)

DANGER
!
NON-SAFETY OUTPUTS USED FOR SAFETY FUNCTIONS
Use auxiliary outputs 1, 2 and 3 for non-safety functions only. They cannot protect
personnel from a moving hazard. You can use them for convenience in automation.
Failure to comply with these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
If you plan to use the Bar Control with your WPC, you must use auxiliary 3 whenever
ProCam 1500 or DiPro 1500 is installed on the same press. Auxiliary 3 turns a low voltage
(24 VDC) input check signal "on" when the DSV is energized. This is true except when Bar
Control is in use so that "loss of rotation" errors are not generated.
NOTICE
The following instructions describe how to connect Auxiliary 3 to DiPro 1500. The same
instructions apply for connecting to ProCam 1500. Refer to the DiPro 1500 or ProCam 1500
manual for details.
Wire a Keylock Switch to Prevent Changes to WPC
Settings in Program and Run (Optional)
You can use a keylock switch (not supplied by Wintriss) to provide additional security that
supersedes the Run mode lockout provided in SmartPAC. Refer to "Additional Security,"
page 257, for more information.
Wire your keylock switch between ground and SmartPAC 2 terminal #251 on TB107.
• Switch CLOSED (grounded): prevents changes to any WPC settings in Program and
Run modes
• Switch OPEN (not grounded): Normal operation of Program and Run modes.
