ABOUT THIS MANUAL
Your SmartPAC 2 with WPC System comes standard with press control capabilities. You
may also have one or both of the following options: Die Protection (DiProPAC) or
Programmable Cam Switch (ProCamPAC). The functionality of these option modules is
discussed in detail in this chapter as well as throughout this manual. Remember that they
are options and may not be included in your system.
If you ordered SmartPAC 2 with load monitoring (AutoSetPAC or WaveFormPAC), automatic
shut height and counterbalance adjustment (RamPAC), in-die measurement (ProPAC) or
other option modules, see the user manual that came with the option module for details on
its functionality and troubleshooting.

Follow the instructions on page 387 to clear a lockout condition after correcting the fault that
caused it.

E-MAIL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION TO WINTRISS TECH SUPPORT
You can send an e-mail containing files of the error log and other information to Wintriss
Tech Support.
• If your SmartPAC 2 is networked, you can e-mail the files directly from the control. See
"Send E-mail to Wintriss Tech Support," page 362.
• If your SmartPAC 2 is not networked, you can load the files onto a USB memory device
("USB disk"), take them to a networked computer and then e-mail them. See "SAVE TO
USB DISK," page 267.
This chapter explains the diagnostics and other messages that you may see on your LCD
display or in the error log. These messages record the error or other condition when the press
stops or when a fault occurs.
