1, starting with 1. If you use the "down" or "right" cursor keys, the number decreases by
1, and then jumps down from 0 to 500, 499, 498, etc.
4. Press RESET when you are done setting advance constant #1. As soon as you do this,
the highlight bar skips to "Advance constant #2." Press ENTER to change this constant
value. Repeat step 3 for advance constant #2.
5. When you are done, press RESET. As soon as you do this, the bar goes to "Slow RPM."
Press ENTER to change this value.
6. Here again you can use either the number keypad or the cursor keys to set Slow RPM.
Refer to step 3 on how to use these keys. The maximum value is 2000.
7. When you are done with slow RPM, press RESET. As soon as you do this, the bar jumps
back to "Advance constant #1." You can repeat the above steps if you decide to modify
any of your entries. Press RESET one more time to return to the Initialization menu.
NOTICE
AUTO ADVANCE IS ADJUSTABLE
One of the nicest things about SmartPAC 2's auto advance is that it is adjustable while the
press is running. In other words, you can enter auto advance constants and a slow RPM
value, and then run your press (see Chapter 6) to see how accurate they are. If you need to,
you can tweak the values until you get them right. This is especially useful when
determining the auto advance constant for press feed functions, for instance, since you must
use "trial and error."

USE THE KEYPAD TO ENTER NUMBERS.
USE THE UP/DOWN CURSOR KEYS TO
INCREMENT/DECREMENT. PRESS ENTER
WHEN DONE. PRESS RESET TO CANCEL.
