COUNTERS

(RUN – COUNTERS)
To set or adjust counters in Run mode, select "Counters" from the Run menu. You will see
this display:
STROKES
GOOD PARTS
BATCH 1
(TOP STOP)
BATCH 2 CHANNEL 7
(TOGGLE)
BATCH 3 CHANNEL 8
(PULSE)
TOTAL HITS
USE CURSOR KEYS TO MAKE SELECTION. PRESS ENTER
TO SET THE COUNTER. PRESS RESET WHEN DONE.
Now you can change or reset the strokes, good parts, batch and total hits counters and presets
in exactly the same way you did when you first set them. See "COUNTERS," page 286, for
detailed, step-by-step instructions for setting up the counters.
The following messages appear when counter presets have been reached.
"Good parts counter preset reached"
The value set for the parts counter has been reached. The press should top stop.
Press RESET to clear the message. The strokes count is automatically set to zero.
"Strokes counter preset reached"
The value set for the strokes counter has been reached. The press should top stop.
Press RESET to clear the message. The strokes count is automatically set to zero.
"Batch # counter preset reached"
The value set for one of the three batch counters had been reached. Depending on how you set
up the batch counter, the press may top stop, the appropriate cam will pulse or toggle ON to OFF
or OFF to ON. See "Setting Counter Mode," page 288, for more information.
Press RESET to clear the message. The strokes count is automatically set to zero
"Total Hits Preset" flashes in the status box at the top of the screen
The value set for Total Hits has been reached. Set the Total Hits Preset to zero (0). This clears
the message. Then set the preset to the desired value again. (See "COUNTERS, page 286.)
For HELP press the HELP key located at the center of the cursor (arrow) keys.
