4.1.1 Using DHCP to Assign an IP to a Specific User and only
Permitting FTP Access
Step 1. Under Policy Object > Address > LAN, set as below:
Click New Entry. Type the name of the user in the Name field. (e.g.,
Alex).
Address type: Select either IP / Netmask or IP Range.
IP Version: Select IPv4 or IPv6.
Type the IP address of the user in the IP Address field. (e.g.,
192.168.3.2)
Netmask: Type "255.255.255.255" (denotes a single IP address as
specified in the IP Address field).
Type the MAC address of the user in the MAC Address field. (e.g.,
00:B0:18:25:F5:89)
Select the Interface from the Interface drop-down list.
Click OK.
