11.1.2 Creating an IPSec VPN Connection under Windows
2000 by a CS-2001 Device
Prerequisite Setup (Note: IP addresses used as examples only)
A Company uses a CS-2001 device:
Configure Port1 as LAN1(192.168.10.1). IP address range:192.168.10.x/24
Configure Port2 as WAN1(61.11.11.11) and connect it to the ADSL Termination Unit
Remote to access the Internet.
B Company uses a PC running Windows 2000:
IP address: 211.22.22.22.
This example is to establish VPN connection between A Company and B Company.
For A Company, set as below:
Step 1. Under Policy Object > VPN > IPSec Autokey, click New Entry.

Step 2. Enter ipsec1 in the Name field and then select Port2 (WAN1) for WAN
Interface.

Step 3. For Remote, select Remote Gateway or Client—Dynamic IP.
