Switching the Excitation Filter (Motorized Excitation Filter Wheel)

16.7
By attaching a motorized excitation filter wheel between the
epi-fluorescence attachment and the HG precentered fiber
illuminator, switching of the excitation filters can be motorized.
Up to 8 filters can be attached to the wheel.
A reflective ND filter can be attached to each excitation filter.
See Chapter 1 "3 Assembly Method - 13 Attach the motorized
excitation filter wheel" in the "Assembly/Maintenance" instruction
manual for attaching the excitation filter.
Configure the information on attaching the excitation filter to the
wheel on DS-L3. (See "23 Operation on DS-L3" - "23.1 Setting
Up the Microscope - (1) Setting Optical Elements Installation
Information" for details.)
The wheel is rotated by the FUNCTION button on the Ni-E
microscope main body. Press FUNCTION button 3 or 4 to rotate
the wheel counterclockwise or clockwise and change the wheel
address one by one. An excitation filter indicated on the display
panel on the front of the Ni-E microscope is brought into the
optical path.
