Ethernet Interface Commands

Command Usage
This command allows you to disable the Ethernet interface due to
abnormal behavior (e.g., excessive collisions), and re-enable it after the
problem has been resolved. You may also want to disable the Ethernet
interface for security reasons.
Example:
ProCurve Access Point 530(config)# interface ethernet
ProCurve Access Point 530(ethernet)# disable
Connection to the host is lost.
description
This command specifies a human-readable string description of this interface.

description <string>
string - The alphabetical description of the interface.

dns primary
This command establishes the primary DNS server address. The no version of
the command clears the primary IP address, if one is set and does not require
for the IP to be specified.
