Magnetic screwdriver
1.
Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.
2.
Remove the left-side cover as explained in the earlier topic, "Cabinet
panels and covers" on page 8-4.
3.
Disconnect the wiring harnesses leading to I/O board 1. To
disconnect the ribbon-style wiring harness, unlock its connector by
pulling on the connector's ears to release the tension on the wiring
harness. Note for reassembly that the ribbon cables contacts face out
towards the I/O board 1.
4.
Remove the six screws securing I/O board 1 to the engine frame.
Remove the interconnect board.

Caution
After reinstalling I/O board 1, before turning on the printer, you
should always make sure that the head tilt cam gear is latched by
the head tilt solenoid and that the head tilt cam gear is disengaged
(via its missing teeth) to the drive gear.
