6. At the right side of the printer, remove the restraint assembly's
bracket. It is secured to the printer frame by four screws. Also remove
the plastic knob (secured with a screw into the shaft end), spring, and
brass bushings.
Note In the next step, mark the location of the restrain pin guide on the
chassis. This simplifies reinstallation and ensure the guide is
correctly adjusted.
7. At the left side of the printer, remove the restraint pin guide; it is held
by two screws.
8. Disconnect the interlock mechanism's spring. Then remove the
interlock mechanism; it is held in place by two E-clips and washers.
