Reverse these steps to reassemble the Y-axis belt drive assembly.
Note
Shim washers on pre-production units. Ensure the correct
shims are installed under the drive assembly at each mounting
screw. Screw a = 0, b = 0.18 mm (0.007 in.),c = 0.5 mm(0.020 in.)
and d = 0.30 mm(0.012 in.). (Standard serial-numbered printer
drive assemblies will not use shims but instead will feature
bosses of the correct height.)
Tension the drive belts using the procedure, "Y-axis belts tension adjustment" on
page 9-8. Also set the drive assembly's mounting screws to the correct torque as
noted in the belt adjustment procedure.
