12. Fine Adjustment. Move the x-axis carriage to the far right position.
13. Attach and lock the X-axis rails alignment tool to the left extreme end
of the X-axis rails (position 1). Check and zero the reading.
14. Attach and lock the X-axis rails alignment tool to the right extreme
end of the X-axis rails (position 2). Check the reading.
15. Using the roll adjuster on the right side of the X-axis, set the x-axis
drive/drum parallelism so the difference between the left and right
alignment readings is less than 0.003 inches.

16. Carefully remove the alignment tool.
17. Reassemble the printer and make a test print. Perform the calibration
adjustments "Adjusting the image position (margins)" on page 9-26,
"Adjusting scale and skip factors" on page 9-28 and "Adjusting the
vertical interleave (scan shift)" on page 9-34.
