Cap/wipe/purge drive motor

Tools required

Magnetic screwdriver

#2 Phillips tip

Turn off the printer and remove the power cord.

Remove the left-side cover as explained in the topic, "Cabinet panels

and covers" on page 8-4.

Remove the access plate so you can disconnect the motor's wiring

harness from J18 of the power control board.

Remove the two screws securing the cap/wipe purge motor assembly

to the printer's side frame.
