Replacement Procedures

DC Power Supply Board

1. Turn OFF the power switch on the printer.
2. Unplug the printer power cord from the power mains.
3. Remove the right rear cover, as described on page 402.
4. Refer to detail drawing "A" in the figure on the next page and move the
circuit breaker lever to the OFF position.
5. Refer to the figure on the next page and remove the two lower screws
holding the power supply cover.
6. Loosen, but do not remove, the two upper screws holding the power
supply cover, then remove the cover. The DC power supply board will be
visible inside the power supply.
7. Disconnect all of the connectors that are connected to the DC power
supply board.
8. Remove the screws (2) securing the two terminals of the noise (EMI)
filter.
9. Remove the screws (9) securing the DC Power Supply board to the
power supply.
10. Remove the DC power supply board from the power supply.
