Vacuum fan (VAF) / Paper exit sensor 3 (EPS3) / Paper exit
sensor 4 (EPS4)
It is not necessary to remove the transfer assembly from the printer to remove
these parts. However, the vacuum fan must be removed in order to remove
the EPS4 sensor.
1. Check that the transfer charger is in the down position, then lower the
transport unit by turning the green lever on the transport unit to the left
(see steps 9 and 10 on page 418).
2. Pull the assembly out until it stops.
