Power Supply (in Controller Module)

1. Turn off the printer.
2. Disconnect the printer AC power cable from the power source.
3. Remove the printer left rear cover (page 401).
4. Remove the controller module side cover. (See the illustration on the
following page.)
5. Remove the screw and washer (1 each) that secure the AC line cover to
the controller module side cover (not shown).
6. Remove the AC connector from the controller module top panel by
pushing its retaining ears toward the connector body and pushing the
connector through its mounting hole. (See the illustration on the following
page.)
7. Remove one nut and disconnect the green/yellow power supply ground
lug from the standoff screw on the module.
8. Remove the screws (4) securing the power supply to the side panel of the
module.
9. Lift the power supply partially out of the module to access the lugs
connected to the terminal strip. Remove each terminal strip screw and
remove all lugs. If necessary, tag the lugs for identification to ensure
proper reconnection.
10. Remove the power supply.
11. To install the power supply, reverse the above steps.
CAUTION
When installing the controller module power supply, be sure that you
connect all of the terminal lugs on the wire ends to their proper
terminals on the power supply terminal strip.
