1. Set the ON/OFF switch on the printer to the 0 (OFF) position.
2. Unplug the printer power plug from its electrical outlet.
3. Wait at least 5 minutes for the high-voltage DC charge in some
components to be completely discharged before proceeding to the next
step. (See the WARNING notice above.)
4. Remove the right rear cover (see page 402).
5. Remove the stand cover (see page 408 and the figure below).
