Replacement Procedures
4. With your other hand, grasp the second fuser handle and remove the
fuser from the printer.
5. Place the fuser on a clean, flat surface with the cover glass facing up.
The fuser unit contains the following replaceable parts:
•
Preheat lamp (Halogen lamp/HAL)
•
Flash lamp (Xenon lamp/XEL)
•
Temperature fuse
•
Lamp duct filter
Preheat lamp / Flash lamp
1. With the fuser cover glass facing up, remove the screws (2) securing the
paper guide on the feed side of the unit.

2. Remove the screws (6) that secure the glass frame to the fuser box.
3. Remove the glass frame.
