Operation
The power paper stacker contains the following keys for operating the
elevator:

When operating the power stacker in Heavy Mode, the maximum stack height
following a cut or page eject depends on the page length, as shown in the
following table:
AUTO: Sets the elevator in automatic mode. Pressing this key causes
the elevator table to rise until it reaches its maximum upper position
and enables the stacker.
STOP: Stops the elevator, and displays the message "Stacker Not
Ready" on the printer control panel. The STOP key may be used to
stop the elevator from lowering after pressing the DOWN key.
DOWN: Lowers the elevator until it reaches its maximum lower
position, or until the STOP key is pressed.
HEAVY: ON equals "Heavy Mode" for thicker paper (LED is lit); OFF
equals "Normal Mode" for thinner paper (LED is not lit). This key is
only active in STOP mode and when there is no paper in the stacker.
