Replacement Procedures
14. With the old flash power supply out of the printer, refer to the figure below
and remove the high-voltage terminal cover from the flash power supply.

15. Remove the hexagonal nuts from the high-voltage terminals on the old
flash power supply, then remove the high-voltage cables.
16. Remove the high-voltage terminal cover from the new flash power supply.
17. Attach the high-voltage cables from the old flash power supply to their
correct, corresponding high-voltage terminals on the new flash power
supply, and secure them with hexagonal nuts.
18. Install the high-voltage cover on the new flash power supply.
19. Position the new flash power supply (with high-voltage cables attached)
into the opening at the front of the printer.
20. At the rear of the printer, route the free ends of the high-voltage cables
from the new flash power supply to the approximate area of the fuser
high-voltage terminals.
21. At the front of the printer, align the screw holes (2) on the flash power
supply with their corresponding holes on the base of the printer frame.
Insert the screws (2) and tighten them firmly.
22. At the rear of the printer, firmly tighten the screws (4) on the metal fittings
loosened previously.
23. Refer to the markings you made (in step 10 above) and attach the high-
voltage cables to their proper high-voltage terminals on the fuser unit.
Secure the cables using the screws you removed earlier.
24. Replace the high-voltage terminal covers on the fuser high-voltage
terminals.
25. Using the screw you removed earlier, reconnect the ground wire (FG
wire) to the printer frame.
26. Reconnect the AC lines "L" (black) and "N" (white) to their proper
terminals on the AC line terminal strip on the new flash power supply.
