5. Remove the sensor bracket (with the sensor attached) together with the
connected DSPS-PCBA.
IMPORTANT
When installing the drum surface potential sensor, you must perform
the adjustment procedure given on page 362 in Chapter 9, "Adjustment
Procedures."
Drum cleaner set sensor
The drum cleaner set sensor is a limit switch that detects whether the drum
cleaner is set (that is, in its correct operating position). The sensor is a
microswitch; it is mounted on the inside of the rear panel such that its switch
contacts close when the drum cleaner is set.
1. On the rear side of the printer, disconnect the harness connector from the
microswitch contacts.
