7. If you are replacing the separator claw shaft assembly, do the following:
a. Remove the separator claw springs (2) adjacent to the separator
b. Unhook one end of the solenoid spring.
c. Remove the shaft E-ring from the end of the separator claw shaft.
d. Loosen the setscrew securing the collar.
e. Remove the separator claw shaft assembly.
