Replacement Procedures

Motors

Cutter motor
1. Remove the cutter unit, as described on page 484.
2. Disconnect the cutter motor connector, and remove the connector
through the hole in the frame, as shown in the figure below.

3. Remove the pulley drive belt.
4. Remove the set screw (1) which attaches the motor pulley to the rotating
shaft, using the hex wrench.
5. Remove the screws (3) fastening the cutter motor to the frame, then
remove the motor. A new cutter motor may now be installed.
