Warning:
When using an uninterruptable power supply (UPS) with an Origin200
server, be sure that the UPS can supply up to 140 A of inrush current. Each Origin200
module can draw up to 140 A of current briefly when you power it on, even though the
sustained current drawn is only a fraction of that. Some UPS units cannot supply that
much inrush current and will be damaged if you use them with an Origin200 server.
In addition, there is the possibility of fire or other hazard if these UPS units are unable
to supply sufficient current.
