7.13 GVRP and MVRP

Use the GVRP or MVRP sub-menu to configure the GARP or MRP VLAN registration applications.
The GARP VLAN Registration Protocol (GVRP) and the Multiple VLAN Registration Protocol (MVRP) define an GARP/MRP application that pro-
vides the VLAN registrations service. GVRP/MVRP maintains dynamic VLAN registration entries for each VLAN and propagates these to other
bridges. This information allows GVRP/MVRP-aware devices to dynamically establish and update their knowledge of the set of VLANs that have
members and the ports through which these members can be reached.

7.13.1 Configuration

Use the Configuration sub-menu to setup GVRP/MVRP for all switch ports.
To configure GVRP/MVRP:
1. Click Configuration >
2. Configure the Parameters.
3. Click Save.

This field shows the port number of this row.
GVRP/MVRP Mode:

MGS3600-24F/XGS3600-26F/XGS3600-28F
GVRP or MVRP > Configuration.
Enable or Disable (default) GVRP/MVRP mode on this port.
