System Memory

The Compaq ProSignia 200 6/233 server supports up to 192 MB of EDO
memory through six 72-pin, industry-standard SIMM connectors. The
ProSignia 200 6/233 also supports up to 384 MB of FastPage Mode (FPM)
ECC memory (requires removal of EDO memory to enable ECC functionality).
The system ships standard with 32 MB (two 16-MB SIMMs) of EDO memory.
IMPORTANT: ECC-capable FastPage Mode (FPM) memory can be purchased as
an option kit from Compaq. The ProSignia 200 6/233 does not support the mixing
of EDO and FPM memory.

Expansion Slots

Five expansion slots may be configured using the
following slots:

IDE Enhanced Disk Controller

If you install an IDE drive in the server, the system ROM automatically detects
and configures the drive for operation in the server.
IMPORTANT: Non Compaq IDE Drives may require jumpers to be set to
"Cable Select Mode" in order to have the drives function correctly. Refer to
the documentation provided with the drive for instructions on setting the
jumpers for "Cable Select Mode."
Three PCI slots for access to the PCI bus providing peripheral
transactions at a PCI bus clock speed of up to 33 MHz.
One ISA slot to access the ISA bus.
One shared PCI/ISA slot for access to either the PCI or ISA slot.
