XY Mode
Single Destination Mode

The switch to a new device will not be executed until the destination that is
using the source is either:
• Switched to a different source.
• Switched to the "SAFE" input.
Note
The Advise and Enforce options do not work when you are using Sequences
or Multiple-destination switching when the same source is being routed to
more than one destination.
This option will avoid having the control device connected to two
machines at the same time.
The XY Mode was designed to easily give access to large numbers of Des-
tinations and Sources. The XY Mode operates as a single Source to a single
Destination and will switch ALL levels that are associated with the selected
destination. You must be in the main menu to see the

The ability to perform a breakaway, lock, or protect is not allowed in this
mode.
To perform a Take:
1. Press the Scroll wheel to go to the Main menu.
2. Press the
XY Mode?
3. Scroll through the available Destinations using the Scroll wheel
(Destinations are displayed in Yellow).
4. Select the preferred Destination button by pressing it. The LCD panel
will then automatically change to the Source-selection mode.
5. Scroll through the available Sources using the Scroll wheel (Sources are
displayed in Green).
6. Select the preferred Source button by pressing it. The Take request is
immediately sent to the host.
The panel will then change to show the Destinations. The selected Destina-
tion button will be white and will show the status of the selected Destina-
tion. The destination button will return to yellow after five seconds.
The Single Destination Mode was designed for situations where a single
Destination is used and quick access to numerous Sources is required. This
mode will "Take" a single Source to a single Destination and will switch all
