ATevo features a mechanical layout and connection diagram screen-printed onto its internal
acrylic safety shield.
ATevo consists of the following components and subsections:
• Rectifier Assembly (A6) – See below
◦ Heatsink, SCR module, Free-Wheeling Diode (CR4),
Polarity Diode (CR1) & DC Shunt (R1)
A1 – Main Control Board
A2 – Power Board
A4 – Auxiliary I/O Board
A7 – Filter Capacitor (C1x/R9x) Board
or
C1x – Discrete Filter Capacitor Bank with Bleeder Resistor
A9 – AC MOV (surge suppressor) Board
• A10 – Remote Temperature Probe – optional, see below
A12 – Serial Communications Adapter
A13 – Forced Load Sharing Communications Adapter
A22 – Ethernet Communications Adapter
C2 – Eliminator Filter Capacitor
CB1 – AC Input Circuit Breaker
CB2 – DC Output Circuit Breaker
L1 – Main Filter Inductor
L2 – Secondary Filter Inductor
T1 – Power Isolation Transformer

Rectifier Assembly (A6)
This is a grouping of aluminum heatsink(s), Silicon-Controlled Rectifiers (SCRs), protection
diodes, and a dc shunt. It is mounted in the upper-left side of ATevo in Style-5070/5030, but the
center back panel in Style-163/198. The Rectifier (A6) converts three-phase alternating current
(ac) power to direct current (dc) for the battery.
