2 Product description

2.1 SensorHand Speed with SUVA sensors
2.1.1 Grip stabilisation system
The grip stabilisation system of the SensorHand Speed prevents the object being held from slip
ping by automatically increasing the gripping force. This process is interrupted as soon as the
object is secured. Sensors integrated into the SensorHand Speed make this possible.
Grip stabilisation is only possible up to the maximum value for automatic gripping force readjust
ment and is intended for programs 1–4. Program 6 is intended for gripping soft foams or tools.
Automatic gripping force readjustment can be stopped at any time with a brief "OPEN" impulse.
2.1.2 FlexiGrip
The FlexiGrip function allows a grasped object to be turned or shifted in the hand without having
to loosen the grip via electrode signals and subsequently re-grip the object.
The SensorHand Speed follows the changes in the position of the gripped objects like a natural
hand would. This makes the grip flexible.
The FlexiGrip function can be stopped at any time with a brief "OPEN" impulse.
2.1.3 Unlocking/locking the wrist joint (8E43=*)
