Logging out
Note: If a run is processing, you can still access its status, even if you log out of the instrument. For
more information, refer to Accessing the run status when you are logged out.
To log out of the instrument, follow these steps:
1. Tap the Logout icon located at the bottom right of the touchscreen.
Note: The Logout button is disabled when the instrument is being calibrated or when a
tray is ejected. However, you can log out when a plate is running.
2. In the Confirmation dialog box, tap OK to confirm or tap Cancel to go back.
Automatic logout
Users are automatically logged off after a 15 minute period of inactivity.
Note: For unsaved data, for example, during plate creation, an automatically log out will lead to
loss of entries.
